It's still too early, the transfer market even isn't over yet and the strong candidate teams to win the Champions League haven't even introduce their main squad for next season. The issue of transfers for top players is still blowing like Victor Osimhen, Kylian Mbappe who is link with Madrid, Harry Kane with Bayern Munich, Manchester City will face obstacles if some of these issues are realize before the season starts, especially Real Madrid and Bayern Munich is the candidates strong at UCL.
Even the opening match has not happened yet. People were speculating if Manchester City could take the trophy again.. It's caused by city is still very strong at this moment.
Even though some key players were leaving from the club like gundogan and mahrez or even walker. The club has recruited new talented players who are as skilled as the departing veterans. I see no problem when people are talking about which club that potentially win UCL.
The transfer season has been making the situation in the club become dynamic and that's unpredictable. There will be so many changes for the upcoming seasons, especially for manchester city.
Manchester City fans were too excited early on to say that they were the strongest team in the Champions League and no one even matched them, I just laughed. Grin

Some of Manchester City's main players have left, but there are other rumours that Walker and Bernardo Silva will also leave Manchester City, what if they really do leave? It will certainly change the scheme of their game, but I know the anticipation of a coach Pep Guardiola who will continue to maintain the performance of his team, but still if some of the main players of Manchester City leave then this will be a little decline although what I say is not necessarily, but my prediction about the Champions League is still difficult to be ready for the strongest candidate.

While the transfer window is still open anyone can offer the players they want including Manchester City players.

I think a statement as you mentioned it can be true, but it doesn't mean that Manchester City wins every single game. I think everyone would agree that Manchester City was the best team in Europe in the last season and that no other team was able to match them. But when you take a game like that between Manchester City and Inter, the voices saying that Manchester City will win easily weren't that many. This is also how I see it. Being the best team overall doesn't guarantee a win in the final. But given how they dominated Real Madrid in both games together, they were the best team for sure. Next season could be different, but in my opinion they will again be among the top favorites.
