If Lewandowski continues to score just as little, then it is very likely that some "regular" striker from the average team will be able to get around him. 23 goals is not at all the level in modern realities, not only for La Liga, but even for the Premier League, where Kane scores 30 goals in a season and he is still not in first place (because of Haaland).
I agree with that. Lewandowski still has it in himself in fact but he couldn't show that performance at Barcelona yet. He is far from his times at Bayern Munich. The La Liga is also one of the most quality league just as the Bundesliga is. It isn't a boring kind of league like the Ligue 1 either.
Besides Lewandowski is playing for a team like Barcelona here. He is the target man. He has all the things that can help him score as many goals as he was doing in Germany. I wonder what is holding him back from being more productive. But I hope this changes next season and he improves it. His contribution is going to be crucial in the Champions League - especially big games.
