Why would your first assumption be that they were hacked - first thought: They are trying to make some $$$ by taking advantage of their user database...
I don't know what exactly happened, maybe they sold their database but it is not that hard for someone to hack and steal their information.Until I see some official explanation from betnomi I will consider that everything connected with them is compromised, if that ever happens.
Better watch out for any websites that look and feel like betnomi.
