You might compare a drunk person doing wrong things, and a gambler that is just so into the games that they are deciding to put more and more money in there to "recover" their losses.

It's a similar state really, where you are not thinking straight, and just want the benefit right now. In both cases most of the time you end up in a worse situation the next day after a day of bad decisions.

The biggest stupidity of gamblers is all-in bets in the desire to win back a loss. In this case, it is impossible to win, because after the next loss, this player will again try to repeat the same thing, and in the end he will still lose everything. There is no need to think that such people have any chances for a positive outcome.
And yes, we can include this as a crazy addict, apart from the losses they chase, also on the other hand, crazy greed to get lots of wins so they behave all in or continue gambling without limits, and this is indeed done in a repeated manner every time. the times he gambled, but on average the most appropriate one was that he had won a very big win, which he had never expected before, or was motivated by the victory of his friend who got the maximum win, which made him keep on playing every day which burned his money, to do debt or sell what he has.
And yes in the end they does not find victory, and it's like the cycle of the gambler addict.
But yes, the drunkard and the gambler in my opinion are the same, they must have moments of awareness, because it is impossible for the drunkard to never stop, but when they get money they both want to take it out until he can't get drunk or gamble anymore because he's run out Money.
