It would not be a bad thing if he accepted PSG's offer and joined them, but Ligue 1 is no longer regarded as one of the top leagues in the world among European countries. Barcelona might be his next destination after declining an offer from PSG and failing to prolong his contract with Manchester City. I'm not sure how Pep will utilise him next season; if he doesn't use him as much as he did last season, he might lose a lot of form on the bench and won't be regarded much by the next season when he wants to join them once his contract with Manchester City expires.
