I agree also with you. Bitcoin is the King, my advice to you is if you just planning to hold some altcoins, don't forget to have Bitcoins in your bag.
We all know why people love altcoins is because of the ROI, they can get more profits on altcoins versus Bitcoin just incase there will be a parabolic run again.
For an experienced investor in cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin would account for 80% or 90% of portfolio. 10% or 20% of capital for altcoins is enough because investing in altcoins are risky.
Holding wrong altcoins can cause your capital drops to zero, no price, no volume to exit. Many altcoins die after every four year of a market cycle and if an altcoin investor hold a wrong altcoins more than four years, capital will become zero.
But for long term, I'll choose Bitcoin to hold.
I agree. Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency we can hold with diamond belief. Because only have questions like what altcoins are considered as commodity or security. With Bitcoin, it is not a security, it is a commodity, no need to discuss more about that. No risk from regulation on Bitcoin in terms of being a security or a commodity as it has been confirmed many times.
