The culture plays massive rule in here that you must take into account if you ask the masses. Here in my country everyone lives in a house, thats the norm. The infostructure of the country as a hole is a houses oriented. There are two or three cities which has apartments for foreign workers, i.e. people who travel for work and they rather to stay in small apartments because they usually come alone. So thats how it works here!

I live in a house, big one with my enire family, my wife, kids. brother his wife & kids, my other brother and his wife & kids, my sister and her kids, my mom and my dad whom we all take care of. It's how our culture works as I said. We stay as one family as a whole forever to take care of each other. The story repeat itself for us, hopefully when I am very old my kids & nephews (kids of my family) will take care of me.
