You're right because it would be very unfair to write off a man who's won about six grandslam titles with several of those at Wimbledon just because he's lost some final games, going into multiple finals should let people know how great of a player he is , because my expectations are that he would decline gradually as he's aging but he keeps taking everyone by suprise by defeating tough opponets to always go beyond the quarter and semi finals into the final stage of the game, even though he's lost the recent final I still consider him the best.
Well era's they say come to an end because one man would never be at the top forever, and maybe the era of Carloz Alcaraz who is currently ranked no 1 in mens single by the ATP having won 12 tour ATP level single and aslo 2 major titles at 2022 US open and Wimbledon championship this year, with several other troophies as well, but let's see if he'll be able to defend his title next year because there are others like Medvedev and ruud including Djokovic that would give him a tough challenge next year.
