I'm not sure if Dortmund is doing the right thing because we know making money from selling younger players is a good move and they can use the money to achieve their goals and they can help the younger talents to grow but like that, they are losing the title in Gundesliha every season.
As soon as Bellingham went to Real Madrid, I'm sure Dormound got a smaller chance to win the title compared to the last season when they were racing Bayern Munich for the title.
Every activity in the world of football includes generating earnings, whether from player transfers or winning trophies; of course, Borrusia Dortmund hoped to win the Bundesliga title someday, but that has yet to happen. The club is making enormous profits by selling the primary players to elite clubs; there have been numerous previous purchases of their outstanding players; perhaps if the club had managed to keep the players up to this point, they would have been the top pre-eminent competitor in elite competitions, in terms of the presence of excellent players with stellar performance. The departure of Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid does not spell the end of the club; they have survived without Erling Haaland, Jason Sancho, and Robert Lewandowski.
Even if it doesn't seem obvious, there are two motives of clubs, it's to win trophies and to make money. It now depends on what they focus on and how they still manage their resources to achieve the two for themselves. Borussia Dortmund is stylishly achieving the two at the same time, and I will not blame them for that, though it's obvious that people have been talking much about it. Yet, they manage to always deliver as they always have a voice in the league and a top rival of any winner of the league.
They've been second in the last 5 leagues and ended up being third in one. This is not so bad and one day they will get it right and be the winner. Bayern Munich is not a club you could just win anyhow even without selling good players, Dortmund would not also sell all their good players, only that they would have had their chance on Bayern last season if they are better serious enough.
