Lionel Messi's return to Barcelona is a deal I never wanted materialize and I'm glad it didn't working, Barcelona would have taken step backwards if Lionel Messi had return to Barcelona because the team would have returned to Messi reliance yet again and it would have been a problem whenever he's retiring or quitting football generally.
The young players in the team would have had less spotlight on them and if he had returned, some of the new players that just joined Barcelona would not have agreed to the move. Even on his own side, he would have been under the pressure to help the Barcelona coach who was a teammate to win the Champions league, which is a competition that the supporters of Barcelona have missed celebrating winning. The MLS is a better place for Messi.
