Real Madrid are really much weaker without a striker like Benzema now. That's why I'm seeing it certain that Real Madrid will bring a decent centre-forward this summer. But I don't understand why they aren't interested in Vlahovic while PSG are about to finish the signing soon. I believe he is one of the best alternatives for Real Madrid for this season.
The strongest reason why Real Madrid isn't interested in signing Vlahovic is because they most likely have a more ideal target. Vlahovic did play very well last season, but that alone wouldn't be enough to become Benzema successor at Real Madrid.
I don't know maybe they don't want to rush this transfer in case something happens about Mbappe's situation. In the end we can still see another team trying to sign Mbappe by making a huge offer. In that case Real Madrid would like to save their funds for Mbappe transfer as they will need to spend insane amount of money.
