After going through rumors for several weeks, Liverpool and Al-Ettifaq finally reached an agreement to sign Jordan Henderson. In these negotiations Jordan Henderson agreed to a contract for 3 years and the cost is around 12 million euros plus add ons. It looks like Steven Gerrard is very adamant about signing Jordan Henderson and with this we will see the two former Liverpool captains join the same team in the Saudi league starting next season. I didn't think that Jordan Henderson would agree to this transfer and maybe again the salary offer that was given was very tempting for any European player at this time.

Currently it is reported that they are ready to provide 40 million as a finalized price for Liverpool and that means Liverpool are really overhauling their midfielders and regenerating younger players.
Now with Fabinho leaving, it is likely that Liverpool will make a bigger move for Manchester City's Kalvin Phillips to provide regeneration especially if Fabinho really leaves then they will get an opening for a defensive midfielder.
Indeed, the door for Liverpool's midfielder next season is increasingly open for any player to be able to fill it in and after Henderson and Fabinho leave, there will be a place left. We know that Henderson and Fabinho are no longer young and Liverpool are currently in need of regeneration, but the fees offered from Al-Ettifaq and Al-Ittihad are also very tempting for Liverpool. Surely Liverpool will be very happy to accept the offer and now it remains to be seen what the next step will be for Fabinho whether he wants to join Al-Ittihad or not.
Liverpool have actually brought in two new midfielders, namely MacAllister and Szoboszlai, thus leaving one place in the defensive midfield and must be filled immediately after Fabinho leaves. I think the Kalvin Philips rumors will come true considering that he also rarely gets minutes to play at Manchester City and Jurgen Kloop doesn't need to be confused if he really wants to come to Anfield.
