I'm just curious about Aubameyang's goal if it's just about career or what.
Because if I should be Aubameyang at an old age and choose the last club before retiring I would prefer to go to MLS in the US which can provide more money to be with my family when I retire even though Saudi Arabia also offers a big offer but it looks like Saudi Arabia not a choice.
But I don't know what Aubameyang is thinking instead preferring to go to a French club which may not necessarily be able to provide a bigger salary.
Aubameyang himself is quite old and I don't think Marseille will pay too much because of course after an old age this player's performance will decrease and his contribution will not be too big.
However, it was Aubameyang decision to go to France for the last time of his career.
The productivity at Chelsea indeed didn't sparkle much; whether it's a matter of squad composition or the English league not being a perfect fit for Aubameyang remains uncertain. Spending three years before retirement, around the age of 37, seems fitting. When one hits 37, contemplating a move to Saudi Arabia becomes more sensible, akin to what CR7 did.
May his performance at Arsenal rekindle the same passion he had while playing in the French league.
