May be you`re right. It is their own business how to spend their time. For me it is just waste of time, for them some of my hobbies can be the same waste of time.
PS. When i was young, i was ready to walk several kilometers to save $1, now i prefer to pay $10 to save 30 minutes using the taxi.
Hahahaha, this is funny and I can concur to what you have written. The young ones would want to trek for some kilometers just to save some bulks but for an adult that has so many experience with time factors, they will not want to waste that time trekking for just a few dollars that can be paid to get a taxi. Everyone has there own problem and what is bothering them so if we see some persons dying hard to do some certain things because of few dollars they will gain, we can just over look that because we have passed that level and that kind of thing does not matter to us.
I was fond of games until 30-35 years old as i remeber. No one stopped me, no one said that it is bad, i just lost interest in the process. Work, family, friends, hobbies - everything is interesting and need my attention and time of course. One moment it becomes more interesting than games. But even when i played games i watched other gamers only to level up my skills, find some moments in their gaming that i can use.
That's a very interesting point, but why didn't you follow through? I know that obligations make you stay away from casinos, sports games and so on, but I think that sometimes you have to make exceptions, for example on a Sunday you can take it and deposit like 10usd to your favorite casino, and you play something to de-stress, I always play slots, yes, I enter with the purpose of not looking for profit but to have fun, and, the fact of listening to the music of the slots, of being in contact with that emotion that produces cheering up one even if one comes out good combination, you won't believe me, but that de-stresses, and it is very necessary.
My method is very mine, because it is not that when I enter a casino I try not to win, because that would be a lie, in dice, or in poker, in any of the games that are presented in a casino I try to win, only that for slots I don't think so, and I think it's better because there are many people who bet large amounts of money on slots and lose everything, which I don't think is very good, for me I see slots as a service I pay where my fun is the one that wins, I do not deny that sometimes I win something, but when it is not a lot of money I leave it there, since that is useful for another day of fun, this type of thing is good.
People should apply this, first have fun, obviously you spend money but not that much, and apart from this, what you can achieve is a balance of tastes and avoiding addiction, which is a pretty strong problem.
