I agree that Real Madrid had a less enjoyable season last season where they lost so many titles compared to the previous season. But it's part of the game so they can't always win every available title. Real Madrid will also be getting closer to parting ways with Ancelotti, it will definitely make it difficult for them to have high focus next season.
However, it's over now and Madrid must now start afresh.
Expecting Benzema is impossible now that he's gone and now we just have to see if his current replacement (between Brahim and Joselu) can make Madrid better or at least give the same performance as Benzema or if this will be a setback for the club.
At the moment, the transfer window is still open but given Madrid's current state they have yet to add any more players which is a cause for concern. However, Ancelotti is still confident in his squad and we will see how strong they are in a few days when they meet Milan in a friendly.
