Manchester City are working on a contract extension for Bernardo Silva recently. They are offering 300k pounds per week which is double the amount he is earning weekly now. If Bernardo Silva's target is not to have a new adventure after the end of his contract then I wouldn't expect him to reject this huge increase. He is definitely an important member of the squad now. Guardiola wouldn't like to lose a very skilled player like him. His contract is ending in 2 years for now.
Some rumour is reported like Manchester City have received an offer for Silva like 35 million pounds + one player from a top team in Europe. However Manchester City are said to have put a price tag of 87 million pounds for him.
It turns out that when Guardiola said a few months ago that he would let Silva go to Barcelona without any problems (since they respect the player’s desire, etc.), was a lie and a bluff? Looks like the bluff failed and now they have to double his salary LOL. I hope other City players will be equally ambitious and City's salary fund will simply burst

First of all, I think selling Bernardo Silva is probably not the best idea for Manchester City. I believe when a player has good chemistry with the squad, he should not be replaced with anyone else. He is also only 28 years of age. This is basically the prime years of his career. So I don’t think it is actually going to make sense for Manchester City to sell him right now.
I also think that £87 million is probably a little less for a player like him. This is a time when any player who even has a little bit of potential goals for more than a hundred million. So I don’t think reaching around a hundred is actually a bad idea. But putting 100 million tag on a player also means that it is going to be very hard for other clubs to get him. And so I guess Manchester City are actually willing to sell him if they get the price that they want. What do you guys think?
