I will seriously want Arsenal to repeat their success and become a serious contender for title this season only if they are focused. It is not about chasing all the trophies and titles for the season. If Arsenal can pedal down their target to 1 trophy. Be it English Premier League title or the Emirates FA Cup, it will be very nice. They can even decide to drop out from The Champions League and target the Europa League just for them to be able to win title this season.
Arsenal can't just pedal down their target on one league title only. Whereby they have FA Cup, premier league, and champions league trophies to contest for. They will have to play in all three leagues they qualify for, like they do mean to lift the trophies.
When last did Arsenal win one of the leagues mentioned above? They should fight off for the three-league title like it's theirs. They shouldn't feel low on themselves to concentrate only on one because they miss the opportunity last season to win the premier league.
The champions league, premier league, and FA Cup titles are important to add to their name as the trophy lifts for the next season. Any league trophy they are capable of, let them lift it. They shouldn't focus on just one because if they do, it might not go as planned and they might miss the chance to lift another league trophy.
Arsenal are recruiting new players this season to be strong enough to be able to compete for all the competitions they qualified for,they have acquired the services of Karl Harvetz,Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber,three additions they believe it will make them become stronger next season,but one thing that their manager Arteta needs to do is to make them blend well while playing together,they should be able to know each other's leg the through constant training,and practicing.
Arteta is planng on using Declan Rice as his defensive midfielder next season, while Harvetz and Odagard plays infront of him,but I don't see that formation working perfectly well because Harvetz cannot be a replacement to Xhaka that just left,instead,it should be Declan Rice,Partey and Odegard in order to maintain control and possession,because that's what Partey is known for,when it comes to ball play and control,Partey is the man you should reckon upon.The partnership of Partey, Odegard,and Rice will be more solid and perfect than that if Harvetz,Rice and Odegard.The earlier Arteta starts working on that,the better for the team to move forward.And last night,Arsenal were beaten 2-0 in a club friendly between them and Man united,and it was Harvetz,Rice and Odegard that were in the midfield.So if Arsenal wants to play a solid and more possession football,they have to play Partey an Rice with Odegard instead if Harvetz.
