Last season was full of surprises in the Champions League except Manchester City's championship.

To be honest Manchester City's making it was also surprising from a different point of view. They won the title for the first time in club history in the end which was the surprise. Otherwise they have been favoured for it highly for many years already.
The main surprises were to see Inter and Milan both in the semi finals. They were lucky to have a draw against each other there though. Because if both of them faced teams like Manchester City and Real Madrid in that stage the chance of their making it to the finale would have been lower.
But this tournament gets even more beautiful when we see different teams in the final stages as well. It becomes more intriguing to follow.
The luck factor in the Champions League starts at the group stage, the next step will depend on the hard work of the team. The most ideal Final Party is to bring together two clubs from different leagues, such as Inter Milan and Man City last season. We will see two clubs carrying their own distinctive style of play, and of course presenting an interesting spectacle for fans.
Several times the Champions League Final has brought together clubs in the same league and in the last decade it has been recorded five times, most recently Man City and Chelsea in the 2020-2021 season. However, each club's steps will be different until the final stage.
