I feel like last season Real didn't had the bench they wanted, the defense of Militao and Rudiger looked alright but that was literally all they had for a while, I believe they needed more bench. This season they actually do not have a proper striker, they may use Asensio as striker at some games but he is not good enough level to be their main striker for every game, he will play 20+ games for sure, and play in many subbed in from bench situations, but not be in the starting eleven for most games. This season, the difference is that they have a bigger bench, not only a bigger bench but even if bench players end up playing, they will end up putting in some other players into bench as well so its a big roster now. That should help them with this big huge schedule they have.

The priority for Real Madrid right now is the need for Strikers. After Benzema's departure from the team, they still could not transfer a quality name to this region. They do not have big problems in defense, but of course, they may want to transfer to the defense. I think they should devote the budget to striker transfers instead. Joselu can be a good backup striker and needs a star striker.
Now, Madrid is still a little passive when it comes to player transfers.
After bringing back 3 of their previous players Joselu, Fran Garcia and Brahim Diaz as well as of course with 2 additional players Arda Guller and Jude this time they don't seem too interested in bringing strikers.
It's probably just a strategy to stay out of the media eye and they're probably still waiting to see how the Mbappe and PSG drama plays out but they should realise that the summer transfer window is almost up so if they're still not satisfied they should start moving again on signings unless they're satisfied with some of the players coming to Madrid.
