It is very difficult to play a player that is already destined for another team. PSG will have hard time using Mbappe and they will try to do their best to not pay him what he is owed legally as much as they can, because they are already aware that he will leave, so why do it all nice for him?
What does he expect, them to let him play for a year and then leave with a fruit basket? Of course not, they are aware that the player they agreed on a deal ended up not playing for the full contract, didn't use the extension and caused trouble within the team. Other players will see him and think he is leaving anyway and that will make them worse too.
