What I know is that it is not easy to control or help someone that is already an addict and we must try our best to let them know that gambling addiction is something that can be stop with the help of both parties. If a gambler is not ready to stop or too sluggish to put some certains to an end and help to set up a boundary then things is not going to work out well. It is obviously hard for a person to stop gambling when he is already addicted, the best thing to do is to help him reduce the addiction before putting an end to it.

To be honest, I don't know if it's possible to reduce an addiction. A friend of mine, a former gambling addict, once told me that addiction is such a thing that you either have it, or you don't. You can't reduce it. He was cured by a professional, and he has no addiction know, and I'm happy for him, but it's from him that I know that only a good professional can help you to end your addiction.

You have a point here. There’s no such thing as reduce addiction especially on gambling which online casino is accessible to everyone. Our mind will keep looking on it once we Are hook on something else. We can take illegal drugs as an example here. There’s no way to reduce addiction as long as the user is exposed to substances since he use as an escape when he feel stress. This is same gambling addiction but the difference is gambling is not illegal which is very hard to control once you get addicted because you have no sense of limitations since that is completely legal.
I think that only applies when he really has an acute addiction, and it is indeed difficult to control, even for those who have an academic profession when they already have an acute addiction it will be difficult to gamble responsibly, in my opinion the things that can help them are limiting them to all activities that bring them closer to gambling, and diverting their attention to activities that are quite tiring offline, that is probably one of the most effective ways to stop his mind from focusing on gambling.

Gambling is easily accessible today, which is one of the reasons why addicted gamblers easily return to gambling.
My view is why someone stop gambling only when he has no money to gamble and they don't have time to gamble.
