This is money management 101, there is almost no person which has not gone through a difficult economic situation at some point during their lives, and when that happens we have no option but to reduce our expenses as much as possible.
And while I like to gamble from time to time when I have found myself in that kind of situation I stop spending money on things that are not 100% necessary, this way you can give yourself a respite and stabilize your finances relatively quickly.
That's the best you can do as you only need to gamble (or invest money in crypto/stocks) with money that you have to spare. I also stopped for a while gambling (because I tilted too much) so right now I just play with very low amounts as I like the trill and it cans give more excitement when watching sports when you place a bet.
Because that leaves us no choice unless we wanted to risk everything in gambling that things in which not wise to do because the more chances of losing , better to choose not to gamble for a while , since this is not permanent and also gambling is there , everytime we wanted to gamble it is waiting.
