Even professional players need help. A short story that I saw just yesterday.

There is only one poker blogger that I rarely watch. He has 3 children and leads a healthy lifestyle, which attracts me. So he decided to arrange a marathon to earn a certain amount in 20 days. Yesterday he started the last days of the marathon and was closer than ever to the goal to win it, but after spending 11 hours on the stream, he lost everything he had won before in this marathon and went into the red. Even though he has 15 years of professional poker experience. Now he wrote that he needed the help of a psychologist because he could not cope with this. This shows how difficult it is even for professionals with great experience.
Anyone will need help, even a professional. Spending 11 hours playing poker must be so tiring he needs a break, even if it's just for a little while. He was risking too much by spending 11 hours even though he was close to his goal, but it was not worth it. And finally, he needed the help of a psychologist to cure him. This proves that, after all, we must take full responsibility for ourselves, especially in playing gambling, where we can continue to be tempted to play. And you give a real example of how someone is tempted to achieve the target he wants in gambling.

Yes, no one is exempted when in terms to this kind of situation, that kind of gambling participation risk a lot not just the money but more on the health of the person, and we know he's not the only one who's leaning to him, he got his family and those children will be affected if he's not going to have that self-will to cure and to bring the balance back in him.

Hopefully with that statement, seeking for professionals will help him but that self-will is the one that he needs to really move him away from this problem with him.

Everything boils down to emotion and greed some people do not know how to control their emotion and they don't also know how to control their greed. When they are in for it, there is absolutely nothing you can say unless they exhaust all the money on them before they will listen to you.

There is nothing wrong with gambling if it is done like a fun and not when the gambler uses all he has to do bet a particular game and which eventually when the outcome does not favour the gambler he will loose everything and plunge into emotional damage.
That's the story of almost every addicted gambler, they know no stopping until they have nothing left to gamble, and even then, they try to find a way to get more money only to continue gambling because the urge just doesn't leave their mind and keeps tickling and telling them that they will now win something big if they play just a little bit more, and that little bit more keeps getting stretched until they lose everything they've gathered once again.

Most people don't gamble for fun but they do it to earn money so that they don't need to work, I consider addicted gamblers lazy people because they want to use gambling as an excuse to not work to earn money and they want to earn a living through it which isn't possible.
I agree gambling addiction always leads to losses and it can never be a way of earning. Those who choose it as a means of earning a living are at risk because there is no guarantee of winnings in gambling, it depends entirely on luck. A lazy person can do nothing in life like any other hobby related to gambling, there are some problems and weekly people suffering from addiction lose huge amount of money, face financial problems, get into debt and can't stop betting in online casinos.
In my tribe a lazy person loves gambling more than hardworking and while growing up I started to see how true this is, if we think very well we will see that gambling suits those who are lazy more because all you have is pressing some buttons and numbers hoping you make millions, how can you start from scratch and build your way up with solid foundation when you believe that you can make millions in gambling instead?

It sound like the very way a lazy fellow will follow isn't it? Because gambling look like a easy way of getting rich for the fools who don't want to work and build themselves up, it's the same way the poor don't like the sound of long-term investment and honestly they are the ones lacking the most.

       -    That kind of concept of belief in gambling is a bit of a bad belief in fact, because the more they think they will get millions of dollars when luck is on their side, the more they will fall into having an addiction to it, something that is not good and difficult to get rid of.

And if you look at it literally, it can be considered a lazy job, as if for them you can get millions of money in the easy way of gambling. That is if you hold or control luck.

This kind of human development towards gambling is the worst habit that makes people addicted to gambling. Many times when I gamble I rely on luck to be confident that I will win the bet but again the opposite happens. There are some people who are very lucky and can win millions gambling but not everyone is so lucky. A gambler sees the bets of other gamblers and bets repeatedly with the aim of changing his luck, but at some point he loses because of his bad luck. In fact gambling is an addiction that instills greed in people's minds and sometimes damages them greatly. Gambling actually depends a lot on luck, those who are lucky can win the bet, and those who are unlucky never win the bet, instead they become addicted to gambling slowly.

The worse after effect of gambling is when you are already engage too deep, like what you said more on luck but the sad thing is when you are unlucky you keep trying and hoping that luck will come up and bring you the money that you desire to earned, and again, after you achieved that, your desire to win more will dominates you, greed will start to take over and the outcome may lead you into addictions.
