we still can't be sure that Arsenal will be very good and consistent in this season. Arteta's performance in building the team was indeed very good. we could see that in the last season. but he did not have enough players to rotate. when the player of his choice experienced problems, Arsenal's appearance seemed to decrease greatly. that was his mistake last season until Man City finally took back his position.
This season Arsenal did make several transfers. but that's not necessarily going to be enough to maintain his consistency in one season. I hope Arteta gets what he wants. the players he brought in at a high price should not be a wasted purchase.
If you look at Arsenal activities in the transfer market this season, it is certainly quite impressive that Arteta learned many things from last season's shortcomings, not only in terms of rotating players, there are factors such as the strategy implemented. Last season, Arsenal was comfortable with a combination of the same strategy in every match and making short long passes, when faced with a team that has a mental pressing game and long balls make Arsenal focus on the field. So with the current evaluation, I hope Arsenal can continue to be consistent, and at least be able to show good results in the standings more than last season.
To me, most of the preseason games are glorified training matches and that's because most of these club players doesn't bring out the best from them when playing these preseason matches because the games aren't important to their respective clubs and the goals scored in the preseason games doesn't get added to a footballers record.
That being said, most of the English Premier League clubs has shown that they'll do extremely well when the new premier league season kicks in August
Even though it is not very important for every club, the results are always learning material for the club, with quite a lot of goals being conceded and this was done by a club whose position and achievements are clearly below Liverpool. We feel that this shortcoming will provide positive things, losing or winning in the end Jurgen Klopp realizes that the players he currently has need to be even better.
