I think Osimhen is smart enough to bargain for a salary increase and still stay in Napoli, so that he can leave next season for a top-level club and with the same top salary. Now the only question is whether he will be able to spend the next season at the same level. If so, then the player will have a brilliant future. I just think that it will be much easier for Osimhen to do this now in Italy than in England, where, according to rumors, the footballer then dreams of moving.
Osimhen has not agreed with the new contract that already offered by napoli. The main problem was osimhen's release clause. He doesn't wanna see napoli gives him non sense prices to leave from the club if there will be a buyer in the future.
Napoli has been increasing his salary in the new contract but it's still far from what he wanted and release clause value has become the main concern for osimhen caused by it will be only preventing him to leave from the club anytime as he want.
Osimhen demands €7 millions for his yearly salary. I guess that he can get more if he will agree to leave from napoli but his release clause becomes the main concern.
I think that napoli must have increased his salary and decrease his release clause to make him to approve the new contract by the club. Napoli had no choice other than doing those two things as main requirement to extend osimhen's contract.
