We are not sure yet, maybe Mbappe is just doing that to make his team spend more for him and increase his salary. Right now are see much news about PSG wanting to increase the salary of Mbappe and keep him in the team for the next season. That's why they did it the last time and it's not surprising to see the same story.
It seems to me that Mbappe and his entourage have already crossed some boundaries in this game, and therefore I still weakly believe that this is a finely planned strategy to increase the salary of a football player. Rather, here we are dealing with a classic case when the situation has got out of control and is already developing not according to a pre-planned scenario. Moreover, the sheikhs from Saudi Arabia, with their space proposals, brought even more uncertainty into the situation and generally confused the cards of Mbappe's entourage.
We really don't know what really happened with Mbappe. Even the news about Mbappe is currently getting excited. What I don't understand is that even Mbappe is currently being linked with Barcelona. This news came after Mbappe went on vacation to Barcelona with several other PSG players. Speculation arose due to the news.
Then now comes a fantastic offer from one of the Arab clubs, namely Al-Hilal. And I think this is the highest bid at the moment. Which of course will benefit Mbappe and PSG if they accept the offer. But Mbappe doesn't seem interested in Arab clubs. He is still young and can still shine more in European football. So I'm pretty sure Mbappe will not waste his career in European football just to get big money from Arab clubs.
I don't know if it's a strategy from PSG or if it's a genuine competition for Mbappe. But right now Real Madrid doesn't seem to be budging with Mbappe's situation being offered a fantastic salary by an Arab club. It's as if Real Madrid already have the confidence that they will get Mbappe in the end. But I really dont like to see Real Madrid waiting for next season to get Mbappe for free in the transfer market. Because I hope Real Madrid can be more competitive in the upcoming Champions League and if Real Madrid can sign Mbappe this season then I'm sure Real Madrid will have their glory again in Laliga and also in the Champions League.
