We often think that altcoins are a good multiplier during Bullrun, we have witnessed it several times. However, we couldn't ignore the high risk than of Bitcoin so if we can't bare to take it, then better choose Bitcoin instead. But even though we are buying altcoins, we must also need to force ourselves to be patient because this is the only way to earn a profit, unless you take trading.
Yeah, we are hoping for the best a few years from now but I was sure that holder will be paid off during the bull season just like it happen in the past.
The quality of altcoins vary too wildly for my tastes as we have coins like ethereum which are very good but then we have hundreds of useless meme coins with no use case, and in that case even if it is true that if you invest in the right altcoins your portfolio could outperform the growth of bitcoin, at the same time the risk is simply too high and it is better to choose the simplest strategy out of the two, which is to buy bitcoin and hold it for as long as possible.
