I'd like to ask the forum moderators a question about the not sending reports on old posts. What if these reports are related to plagiarism? I have several links to such posts. As far as I know, theymos, I think, wrote that plagiarism has no statute of limitations. So is it possible to report old plagiarized posts?

I would like to say: it depends.
- Is the user still active ?
- Do you have just one case of plagiarism for this user ?
- Does it look like "honest plagiarism" ? (Does he make the plagiarized message his own, or is it just a copy/paste ?)
- How old is the plagiarized message? Knowing that :

<...> Your plagiarised post must be old cause it's posted back in 2015 but the Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ was posted a year earlier that's why you still committed a violation as it is stated in the rules and regulations of the forum. <...>
It should be noted that there was no rule about plagiarism on Bitcointalk until 2016, according to web-archive.

So if the user is inactive, you only have one case of a plagiarized message and it just looks like a copy/paste and dates back to before 2016, I would like to say forget it. It's just my opinion, but you can report it, you don't really risk anything Smiley.

Yes, thank you for the reply. I understood your point. You can see for yourself all the information about this plagiarism in my post here. And this information does not fit any of the points you mentioned. By the way, the user I reported in my post has already been banned. Thanks again for your comment.
