And it's private so there is no way to know who is behind it.

And, as of December there still was no site there:

If you have to lie about who / what / when then nobody should be business with you.

I've seen the website it's working but I don't trust it. It isn't easy starting new businesses. It's arduous if you're offering blind trust services. BlockBee shouldn't make fictitious assertions. Customers trust sites if they're rated with positive reps.
Never heard of this Crypto payment gateway I usually test some payment gateway on WordPress since 2020 but this (blockbee) never heard of them.
So how are you sure when you publish your service? 2018? I agree with Dave how can we trust a service or software if you lie?

Another thing is that the open-source code from this link below it does not have much activity but it has a record for last year's activity which is not enough to tell that this business was created year 2018 because the first and last activity according to Github is last year.

I did not understand what you mean by without any sign-ups, without creating an account, it will be much more difficult to track transactions, exchange rates, fees, and others, and therefore the user must have an account.
Also, the idea of getting your coins directly to your address is problematic because of the high cost of fees where you ask for 1% fees + bitcoin transaction fees (may be high because you get your coins in every transaction) + bitcoin exchange rates (if you don't intend to convert altcoins to Bitcoin, then it will ask the user for thousands of addresses, which is illogical)

Let's give him another chance. He may have made a mistake in writing history.

Hello guys

First of all, we're very sorry about this confusion. BlockBee was created from CryptAPI (thread) which was indeed created in 2018.
BlockBee and CryptAPI share the same foundation and the same team, but BlockBee has several extra features not present in CryptAPI (dashboards, payouts, POS app, and more).

Here and here is our blog posts about BlockBee, which was launched in September 2022.

Unfortunately when our colleague was writing a thread for BlockBee to announce on this forum, by mistake, he published an early draft (that was pretty much copy-paste of CryptAPI's thread and in no way ready to be published) on his own account.
We have already instructed him to delete the text on the OP, so we can let this thread die and when we have rewritten and reviewed the text properly, we will post it on the correct section with a BlockBee account.

We apologize for the confusion this has caused.

PS: about not knowing who is behind it, here is our picture on Websummit last year  Cheesy
