When Barcelona sold out Aubameyang that was very good to them, and was even scoring goals back to back for them, instead of them to keep him to compete with Lewandowski, they went ahead and sold him out forgeting the fact that players sometimes becomes tired as a result of fatigue.Lewandowski might still be scoring the way he was scoring, but if he should get injured,I think it will really be hard for Barcleona because he is the only striker that can give them the number of goals they would want. They are currently building the team around young players and if they should want to sign a new attacker,it should be a young player that has great potential, and it should also be a young kid who is not injury prone.Nervertheless, the transfer window is still some weeks away from closing, and anything can still happen.
I'm also a bit disappointed with Barcelona, they kicked out Aubameyang who already contributed a lot for them. Aubameyang actually have proven that he deserves to stay in Barcelona, he scored some important goals for Barcelona. Sadly, Barcelona prefers to sell him, they ignore Aubameyang's contribution after they signed Lewandowski. Even worse, they also sold Depay, they may try to decrease the players' budget salaries at that moment. However, I think it becomes a problem in the next season if they only have 1 striker for the whole season.

Sure, there are still few weeks until the transfer window is over. Barcelona still has enough time to sign a new striker. But there is no any rumor about the plan for signing a new striker for the next season. They signed Vitor Roque but he is available for the season 24/25.

But isn't that normal that they sell players when the time has come? Aubameyang is now 34 and yes he did score some goals in his 18 games for Barcelona, but his performance in Chelsea was not exactly the perfect application for his return and stay in Barcelona. They have said for a long time that they want to start a whole new project and rebuild the team over time to get back to the Barcelona that was a Champions League favorite. I think keeping Aubameyang wouldn't have been a decision that is consistent with their plans.
