Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Sergio Ramos, Messi, Neymar Suarez during their EL Classico matches meant a different kind of excitement. Back then Barcelona and Real Madrid matches were in everyone's spotlight but recently watching EL Classico matches is not as fun as it used to be. Last season may not be as fun as last season because players like Karim Benzema have already left the club. As in previous seasons both teams had a lot of aggressive players, now the number of aggressive players in both teams is very reduced due to which extreme excitement is not observed in EL Classico matches anymore. Really miss the previous EL Classico matches now.
well, after the senior players like you mentioned have left these two teams it's no longer as exciting as it used to be and it just looks like an ordinary match without strong competition. In the past, maybe some of the top La Liga teams were very competitive and had aggressive players so it was very clear that they were very strong fighting for the title they wanted so the competition was interesting to watch.
but nevertheless this is a new era and it's time for new younger players to replace their positions with new excitement without senior players even though they don't look as attractive as they used to be.
