Many things has changed positively with Arsenal which will make Arsenal to defeat Barcelona anytime because what we saw during the pre-season match is a sign that Arsenal can still defeat Barcelona in the champion league competition this season. Arsenal surprised many people during the premier league competition Last season that made them to lead the tournament from the beginning before Manchester city manage to take over the first position to lift the title because their players really handle their position very well to frustrated the effort of the Arsenal. I believe, this season will going to be a tough season for Barcelona and other strong teams because all the teams are planning to break record in this season just to make their fans happy.
It is amazing to see Arsenal rekindled battling spirit in today game. They genuinely exhibited the mindset and tenacity required to compete at the highest level. The fact that they defeated a strong team like Barcelona 5-3 says a lot about their potential. They can certainly compete with the top teams in Europe including the reigning champions Manchester City if they keep up their present level of play. I am an Arsenal supporter and am excitedly anticipating the forthcoming match between the Gunners and Sevilla. I am hoping to see the same attitude and energy from the Gunners. Barcelona chances of succeeding under Xavi leadership make it an exciting prospect for the forthcoming season.
So you are convinced that in a game where Arsenal made 9 substitutions and Barcelona made 11 substitutions (11 fresh players for the 11 players on the field, including the goalkeeper of course), the 5-3 win is a strong indicator for Arsenal's competitiveness in the Premier League in serious games under totally different conditions for a totally different output, a.k.a. points?
I am ok if this is your opinion, but I wonder whether this really is your opinion? Liverpool played 4-4 against a team from the 2. Bundesliga. I would like to know your interpretation of that result, should we expect Greuter Furth to soon win the 1. Bundesliga or should we expect Liverpool to soon get relegated into the English Championship?
