It is amazing to see Arsenal rekindled battling spirit in today game. They genuinely exhibited the mindset and tenacity required to compete at the highest level. The fact that they defeated a strong team like Barcelona 5-3 says a lot about their potential. They can certainly compete with the top teams in Europe including the reigning champions Manchester City if they keep up their present level of play. I am an Arsenal supporter and am excitedly anticipating the forthcoming match between the Gunners and Sevilla. I am hoping to see the same attitude and energy from the Gunners. Barcelona chances of succeeding under Xavi leadership make it an exciting prospect for the forthcoming season.
The match was so riveting from the two clubs and Arsenal gave a very good game so they were able to win with 5 goals.
I was a little amazed by L. Trossard who managed to score two goals for Arsenal in the second half.
It's been a great start for Arsenal for this pre-season game and of course what is said that Arsenal are able to compete with European clubs has some truth to it.
If until later in the season Arsenal can improve their game then it is very likely that they will be able to win the Premier League title even though they have to compete with other strong clubs such as Manchester City and Manchester United.
