A drug addict can get better with rehab but a gambling addict can't get better with rehab because there are financial issues involved where emotions work harder. And it is this emotion that does not allow a gambling addict to quit gambling easily.
I don't think so, does that mean that it will be vice versa onto a drug addict? Rehabilitation is different in every case but I think it will work on gambling addiction as well as long as the patient is doing the work that they need to do. Though I don't tend to know how financial issue works on gambling addicts as what you stated.
Rehabilitation does not bring drug addicts to leave completely, it's just a formality, many come out of rehabilitation but eventually they return to using drugs, so they can't completely stop even though they have gone through a difficult stage like rehabilitation, as well as gambling addicts usually have financial problems if they don't having money might help to cut down and stop gambling.

But if you still have money and assets I'm sure it's difficult because gambling addicts always sell whatever they have as long as they can catch up on the losses they've experienced so most gamblers always feel they can't control their emotions and revenge to get back what they lost, gambling addicts just can't accept the risk that gambling can lose money but they don't realize it so they keep playing after the lost money so they can come back again, but in the end they don't get it anymore and even spend all the money unconsciously. the only way to cure addicts that must start from the desire of the addict.

I don't agree with you at all. Rehab can indeed be a very important step in helping addicts overcome their addiction. True, in some cases the addiction can return after rehabilitation, but this doesn't mean that the rehabilitation is just a formality. Addiction is a complex problem, and relapse is a common part of the recovery process. However, many people successfully recover from addiction through rehabilitation, so it is not good to generalize and simplify things like this.
