A complete revamp is what Pocchetino did in Chelsea. Am happy he was man enough to let go of unnecessary players that were in Chelsea making no impact in the club.
I don't think it is complete revamp. There are several old players who stay in Chelsea, not every old players to be sold. Pocchetino seems to keep the players who still can contribute well and they fit with Pocchetino's tactic/strategy. It will be too risky if Pocchetino really take the option of complete revamp. Chelsea squad probably lose their balance and Pocchetino will be difficult to rebuild the squad quickly.
In the preseason match played by the Chelsea team, they managed to win two of their match games and draw one. This indicates that Pocchettino is succeeding in putting up back the winning mentality in the mind of every Chelsea players.
Yes, Chelsea got some wins in pre season matches. It means Pocchetino succeeds to rebuild Chelsea squad with their own way. Although the new season isn't started yet, but we can have a big hope with the current condition of Chelsea performance. I'm sure Chelsea can show their good shape again in the next season under Pocchetino's mangement. They look to have solid game, stronger mentality, and more offensive now.
