Man United has already signed Rasmus Hojlund, so it can be assumed they won't be going after Harry Kane anymore. His performance will indeed be questioned because he is not yet considered a world-class striker and competition in the Premier League is clearly much different from Serie A. But I think Ten Hag must have had a reason for being so insistent on bringing Hojlund to Old Trafford.
Of course Ten Hag had good reasons why he really wanted Hojlund to be in the squad he led, as a coach he could see something valuable in Hojlund so his presence was really needed in the Manchester United squad. Actually Kane is a good choice for Manchester United, he has been tested in the Premier League and did not take long to adapt to the new environment at Manchester United. Players from outside the Premier League need to adapt to a fast style of play that relies more on physicality, hopefully Ten Hag won't make a blunder like Klopp who brought Nunez to Liverpool.
