it's really a challenge to keep track + sometimes search or quote, what my PM people wrote me and what I've replied back only weeks ago, for members getting usually quite a few PM's every week.
I know your pain. My inbox is 235 pages, my outbox 186 pages. Have you considered downloading your PMs and managing them locally? See Backup/Sort Private Messages/PM/DM (I haven't tried this).Maybe theymos can set up a bounty among trustworthy forum members and implement it in his general forum structure?
(If it's possible, I'm not a coder, so I'm not really educated on that issue
). This is one more reason to have new forum software, but I guess we could temporary have another SMF patch to make things a bit more better than they are now.
Of course, considering we won't get a new forum software anytime soon, it's a very good idea.
