I like Chelsea under the ownership of Roman Abramovich in the last decade, The Blues are seen as a club that has big ambitions and is aggressive in spending players. it was proven that winning the Champions League twice was an achievement during the Abramovich period. In the transfer market this summer, Chelsea released a lot of senior players, overall Chelsea sold fourteen players and brought in four new players. Several players from their academy squad were promoted to the senior team, but I see it's still lacking in balance.
Kante, Havertz, Pulisic, Kovacic, Loftus Cheek, Mason Mount, Mendy, Azpilicueta are a number of Chelsea stars who have been released. However, there are no names of star players in the same class as the players above that were brought in the transfer window. I doubt them a little to finish in the Champions League zone next season.
Under Roman Abramovich, Chelsea always dominance on top fourth standings position and never absent in UEFA Champion League, but war invasion Russia to Ukraine make him loss controlling with Chelsea before selling to Todd Boehly and first season acquisition Chelsea have finished on 12th standings placed. Mistake made by Todd Boehly he don't understand yet with players transfer due many new recruitment in first season after acquisition but failed have top performance.
Next season, Chelsea loss many players although sign several top players I don't think they will adapt well with Primer League, little optimistic with Chelsea has quit well performance in Primer League season 2023/24 and doubt with their chance to finish on Champion League spot standing placed.
Yes they have a lot of players and have also brought in some good names too. Imo Chelsea will make the UCL. I’m so sure of this but they won’t win the league. They don’t have European distractions. Pochettino have given them a sense of play and they’re bonding and finding the rhythm this preseason. They will make the CL, people are underestimating what being totally out of Europe brings in term of squad's fitness. It's three teams that one can boldly say are ahead of them.
