Chelsea are building a very good squad, they have managed to clear out the aged players who are no longer performing at a high level and have recruited young and vibrant players. Looking at the preseason results, it shows that Chelsea will do much better this season with the current squad at their disposal. They show good team work, better connection amongst the players and most importantly they seem to have a better playing style than last season.
Even though this is pre-season, they could win the EPL title this season because usually, a team that is on fire in pre-season is a good sign. If we look at last season like Newcastle and Brighton, it was something special to achieve them last season. I only hope that Chelsea can bring in at least three more players who are quite influential in terms of play, so it is not impossible that Chelsea can compete for the EPL title this season.
This is just my thought, Chelsea has a very big chance to win the Premier League this season. because they will only focus on local competitions like when they won the EPL League in the 2016-2017 season. Or at least finishing in the top four this season is the highest achievement for Potcetino himself. Chelsea's minimum target is solidity, fighting spirit, and a winning mentality so that next season they can again become the favorites to win the EPL.
