SEC chief G.Gensler was a bitcoin lecturer at MIT a few years ago... teaching kids about bitcoin.. years later even gensler cant decide what bitcoin is..
just goes to show how poor even known institutions dont really know what they are talking about
In all fairness, I think he explicitly said that Bitcoin is not a security. He was undecided on other cryptos.
thats more about him not wanting to be seen as the guy applying regulations, but everyone knows he is applying regulation.. again he cant decide to be involved or not because he goes back and forth about if people should or should not register with the SEC
point being though he, as a lecturer should have been an expert first then be able to lecture it to others. but recent proof is he is not helping anyone. again showing that educational 'experts' are not certified enough themselves, let alone qualified to certify those they teach
