The thing you mentioned at the end is exactly what greed is all about. When destiny is giving you the opportunity to get $200 which you can get immediately but you become greedy and wants to get $1,200 that only is a possibility and you might not even get it, you will even lose the $200 that you could get and might not get $1,200 as well.
Yeah, another one could be taking useless risks. I remember so many times when I make huge parlays I end up losing with just one game. If you end up betting on 9 games, and win 8 of them, and because of that one loss you end up losing all your money, that's greed for sure but that's also taking a risk you shouldn't have as well.

If I wagered on all those games one by one, I would have made a lot less money, and I mean like seriously little amount of money, but at least I would had some chance, and that's what matters. That is why I try to keep the parlay to a minimum, except when I have some profits I want to burn through and have some fun with, in that case it becomes a little bit more money that I can risk and that's when I do parlay.
I can't count how many times people have lost a lot of money to gambling because of one game that mess it all up, this is very common because people want ti walk away with Bigger amount of money using small amount of money, it's greed and a higher risk than taking a normal risk, why not 3 games? Why not 4? But you will see people betting on 9 games so that they can turn into a millionaire over night.
