After Riyad Mahrez left and joined the Saudi league team, the right winger position became vacant and it seems that Manchester City wants to move quickly to get a replacement. One name has been rumored with Manchester City, namely Jeremy Doku from Rennes. I honestly don't know how this young Belgian is performing and if Pep Guardiola is interested in bringing him to the Etihad stadium then he is a player with even greater potential. If you refer to last season's statistics in Ligue 1 with Rennes, he recorded 6 goals and 2 assists in 29 appearances. I think this player is quite good but immature so it takes enough time to reach his best performance if he later joins Manchester City.
Manchester city will find it very difficult to replace a player like Mahrez because in today's market, players of such quality are very scarce, and the little ones available will be placed with a very high price tag.Manchester city knows quite well that loosing a player like Mahrez means they need to look for another good player, and I won't be surprised if Manchester city goes for another big name after the exit of Gundogan and Mahrez from the team. They really need to invest in their squad again because next season will be very tough and competitive,we have the likes of Arsenal signing players that can add quality to the team, and also signing players to add depth to the team.We also see Liverpool trying to bounce back from last season's setback, where they fell below top four. Therefore,if Mancity will still remain champions, then they need to sign more players
