I am not so sure why Rasmus Hojlund is tagged the second Erling Haaland, maybe it’s because of his statue and physic. Looking at the stats of both players there is a huge gap between them, I really hope Manchester United have not made a big mistake and gambled with this player because it will be disastrous if that is the case, hopefully they have finally found their man this time.
We will see how great this striker is next season, is it possible that he will be able to compete with Halaand in the top scorer position or fail in the adaptation process.
This guy is overrated, still remember how the crowd when Manchester United were signing Maguire and Sancho? one is perform like 20-30 Million Euros player while the another one is a nightmare for the team. Hojlund is playing for Atalanta and now Atalanta isn't a champion, it was different with Haaland where he carried Dortmund in every matches. Haaland is similar like Grealish when he was playing for Aston Villa.
It's true that both of them look like a nightmare for the Red Devils, their prices are very expensive but they can't live up to expectations at all. Sanco was recruited for 100 million Euros, and Maguire 80 million Euros. An investment that failed miserably for these two players.
Maguire and Sancho are failed players recruited by Man United, especially Maguire, who often makes a lot of blunders so the price bought is not in accordance with the club's expectations.
Hojlund must always have comparisons with other teams because he was bought at an expensive price of 75 million euros, we never know whether their action on the field will show that stunning will actually be a failed purchase again.
But Erik Ten Hag sees Hojlund as a talented young player but the coach's philosophy knows far more than us. Cheesy
If in his first season Hojlund had not been injured, he could have matched Halaand at Man City. All will be proven once the official EPL rolls around, wish him all the best.
