Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez also made comments about Arsenal and Mikel Arteta. It was a friendly game but they didn't play like it was a friendly. They played to win and was very strong than Xavi Hernandez expected.
Should that be the reason why Arsenal are declared ready to fight for the Champions League having basically been absent in recent seasons?
I know Arsenal deserve to be the best candidate from the Premier League for the Champions League next season after they have good form, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Arsenal have a high chance of reaching the last stages of this elite competition.

Arsenal still has many shortcomings that need to be corrected by their coach, but we all know that Arteta looks very ambitious to bring Arsenal to the top of glory, especially when he has a team that can be relied on. I don't think Arsenal will reach the semi-finals of the Champions League next season, but let's see how they get there.

After so many years of trying and failing this season is another to see how they will progress after so much absence from one of the biggest games in all of Europe. The lose of Gabriel Jesus to Injury will affect them at the start of the new season but he will be back. Nketiah will sure fill in well until Gabriel returns but he is not matured enough to lead Arsenals attacking force. He misses a lot of chance.
The loss of Gabriel Jesus has clearly left Arsenal short of strikers at a time when they were having a hard time. Jesus had to miss a few weeks with an injury at the start of the season but I think he will be back as scheduled.
