Chelsea players have shown mastery of each other's playing formation during their whole preseason tournament. Both their attacking force and defense were strong. None of the Chelsea players that took part in the preseason match performed poorly, even though it was a preseason that shouldn't be taken seriously. They all have victory in mind to deliver more than expected of them. With the few days remaining to the start of the premier league, I believe Chelsea would be at its peak
Chelsea have had good form during pre-season, but that will never be the best yardstick to say they will be top of the Premier League table next season. I agree Chelsea are ready for the new season, but they don't have much confidence to lead the Premier League table from day one.I wonder if Pochettino will be able to beat Liverpool in his first match in the Premier League with Chelsea or if Pochettino has to lose to Liverpool. Basically Liverpool have a high probability of winning the game, but who knows.
Because this is the opening match in the Premier League, and each team does not have a match yet to be used as a reference (Pre-season does not include reference for me)
So it looks like it will be quite difficult to make a choice between the two, but playing at the Stamford Bridge stadium is one of the strengths of Pochettino's team and I'm ready to bet on their win.
