Totally agree with your opinion. Chelsea has not faced yet liverpool during the pre season match. That makes the both of clubs have equal chances to win the game. Chelsea is now different compared with last season.
I hope that there will be a huge progress to happen with chelsea. Being able to win against liverpool in opening match gonna be a very good booster to the mentality from whole of players in chelsea.
Chelsea had a very good friendly matches, but it is very difficult to judge from their results what the team will be capable of in official matches. Chelsea will play Liverpool in the first round of the Premier League, it will not be an easy match and I have doubts that Chelsea will be able to beat Liverpool. Every beginning of the season I just look at what form the teams are in and only after that I can draw some conclusions, since official games often differ in results from friendly games.
