Not only in gambling, losing in anything in life is painful, whether it's a sports match that you are a part of, a competition that you were participating in, a gaming battle with a friend, or anything in general, when you win, you feel proud and happy, but when you lose, you feel remorse and sadness, but that is a part of our life and we will have to go through that throughout our lives until we die because there will always be challenges, sometimes we win, sometimes we lose.
When we talk about gambling, those who gamble to get profit would feel more remorse after losing because they see their source of earning money fading away, and those who gamble just for fun might not feel good if they lose but they won't have the same amount of remorse as the ones I mentioned above.
Because there are several known types of gamblers, of course there will be regrets among them. I agree that if they gamble for money then the regret of losing is far greater than those who gamble for fun. But really, it's hard to get gamblers to just gamble for the fun of it, unless they have a busy schedule throughout the week.
I regret losing not because I lost money, but only when I was still not satisfied enjoying the session I was playing. About winning and losing, it is a part of gambling that every gambler will experience.
Gambling for fun is just an activity to fill their free time and of course there will be no regrets when they lose, the funds they use are also limited. But it's different from someone who gambles to get the main profit or income. If they continue to hope for profit, they will become uncontrollable gamblers and eventually become addicts. there will be regret when you lose gambling and have spent a lot of money, it is no longer entertainment but will turn into hell that continues to haunt the gambler. Not having good control on gambling results in serious mental disorders. Gamble for fun, not to get crazy.
