One of the decisions that might surprise us is releasing De Gea this season where previously De Gea had impressed in guarding manchester united goal but Erik Ten Hag had thought of this decision earlier because he managed to get a younger and quality goalkeeper to Manchester United next season.
ETH might have made some significant impact at Manchester United such as a top four finish and taking them back to the champions league. He's not afraid of making some big decisions such as relegating Harry Maguire to the bench and tripping him off the captaincy and also the replacement of DDG with Onana. That does not mean that his decisions are always right, I still see the Onana move as a gamble and I am waiting for the season to begin to actually know if he was right for showing the long serving veteran DDG the exit door.
