To be honest when I saw this topic in the gambling section I was not expecting this casino to be pulling off some exit scam whatsoever, but when I read the topic started by Coinbox1 I realized all this situation was worse than I imagined.
I personally find endearing this action, seeking to give something to those who lost money to scammers, but perhaps this could be seen as an attempt to monetize from the disgrace of a community, keeping in mind what is going on. Just my opinion, of course, I am sure many of the victims will appreciate such "relief".
Yeah I saw that thread and I am dual on what to think about it.First of all Betnomi set a real bad bad precedent for any new coming casino wanting to open business here,they even sponsored the Champions League pool last year and I thought they are doing very well and have money to spare.I think the owners of Betnomi were plain stupid if they shut down business and are happy with what amount they scammed from the users,if they continue business as usual they would be making a lot more profit like any other casino in the long run,what a bunch of idiots.
I have not yet read the full context behind all this situation, though.
What they have done is stupid, obviously, because even if they closed the casino in a proper way and allowed people to withdraw, they could have kept their reputation and use it in the future to try again. But for some strange reasons they decided to sell their reputation for whatever money people had deposited on their platform.
If they were profitable there was not reason to do this. Obviously.
