I didn't really go into the incident that led to criticism of this player's character. But what I want to emphasize is that Andre Onana is still very new to Manchester United, it is too early to speculate about what he did there. MU's main players and coaches must provide understanding to players who have just joined the club because that will help speed up the adaptation process with other players
Andre Onana is a goalkeeper who is still very young, doesn't have much experience, and can be said to be immature because he still has points of gaps and weaknesses when the opponent manages to get a score from a kick in the middle of the field and break through Andre Onana's defense. Hopefully, in next season's match, Andre Onana will perform better and focus so that it makes it difficult for opponents to score goals.
It is interesting for me to see how people are tendering Onana these days after he joined Manchester United to wear the De Gea's shirt in the next season. Onana is not a young goalkeeper and I'm sure they did;t buy this goalkeeper because of being young because as a 27-year-old player, he can't considered young. On the other hand, just like any other goalkeeper, he sometimes makes mistakes to make his team even lose the whole game. Since he joined because of Ten Hag, I think for any mistake he makes in Macnshter United, Ten Hag will be under more pressure.
